Faith UMC of Brimfield
Lead Pastor: Rev. Janelle Kurtz
Janelle joined the Faith UMC community in July of 2012. Janelle is a graduate of Candler School of Theology at Emory University where she earned her Master of Divinity Degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Akron. She and her husband, Kevin, are excited to be in the Brimfield community.
Janelle believes that relationship and community are fundamental to her call to ministry. As such, she hopes to lead in ministry that connects people to God, each other and the world. A key part of her ministry lies in supporting others to hear and respond to their own calls to minister for Christ in the world
Church Office Assistant: Angie Graham
Angie has been Faith’s secretary for the past 14 years. She brings excellence, energy, and efficiency to the offices of Faith. She handles the daily dealings of the office, and compassionately cares for each member. We are truly blessed to have Angie be a part of the team here at Faith UMC.
Pianist: Sadie Fellows
Sadie joined Faith's family in 2013, ever since, she has been a blessing to the church. She leads the praise team every Sunday during worship.
Youth Leader: David Johnson
David has been the youth leader at FUMC since 2009. He takes great pride in working with the youth of our church. He has grown our youth group from a small group of 3 to a regular attendance of 10 or more. In the summer of 2015 he plans to take the group on a mission trip to Kentucky.
